Rumors about the city of Tulelake raising utility rates

Tulelake, CA— ANNOUNCEMENT:

1. Someone is spreading a rumor about the city of Tulelake raising utility rates. It is not true as the rumor was mentioned at the city council meeting on Monday night’s regular meeting. And whoever is doing it, should stop. Especially, if you care about Tulelake and it’s residents who live here.

Don’t take your personal frustration out on the city of Tulelake by getting other residents upset that their bills may be going up. There are a lot of people struggling to pay their current utility bills, without someone going around adding more stress to a stressful situation, they may already be dealing with their present utility bill.

If you have questions be sure and call city hall at (530)-667-5522 for correct information, do not listen to rumors or anyone spreading them.

2. The Tulelake Library is in need of your support by stopping by and purchasing items in the rear of the building for sale. The library needs your support and the library is still a good resource for books you may not find on line. The library is even a place to go on line if you are looking for a way to go on line. The library has 4 computers that you can sign on for an hour each day the library is open.

The present Tulelake Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 PM –6:00 PM. Come out and support your local library by buying the items of interest at the rear of the building inside the library located directly behind the computers.
