Nine more days of meeting new friends from all walks of life. Nine more days and I can go home. I'll leave it at that...
Nine more days and I can sleep in my own bed again in Tulelake, where I live and where I call it home. Local politics and all.
But this trip has given me an idea and that is when I can afford to buy a lap top computer to travel with me on my adventures of going to places to see what kinds of programs, they offer for the homeless. I want to check out Eugene, OR next, for a one or two week vacation. But in the summertime, not in the middle of winter. Not where each night you have to try and find a place to sleep where it is warm. And it should be near a restroom that has hot water, as the is very important.
If you take with you instant coffee, sugar and cream containers with you it can save you money. You can have a nice hot cup of coffee without having to worry about coming up with the funds to buy one at a convenience store or a fast food joint or gas station. They don't want you there, anyway.
So if people were really thinking about the needs of the homeless they would make sure restrooms have hot water. I don't get it at all with most of the restrooms where they only have cold water to clean your hands with.
Oh, Well.... more later.
To be continued...
