UPDATED: Garland ejected from Tulelake City Council Meeting by Mayor Randy Darrow

Tulelake, CA- Mayor rejects Garland

At Tulelake City Council meeting on April 21 @ 7:00 PM James Garland was ejected from the Tulelake City Council by order of Mayor Randy Darrow. Who ordered Tony Ross, the Chief of Police to remove and escort Garland out of the meeting and city hall building. Garland was on the agenda pointing out the illegal hearing that took place on March 17, 2014 without due process notice according to Tulelake Police Departments own policy manual.

The Mayor Randy Darrow, Dar Carroll and Tony Ross did not like what they were hearing.

Mayor Randy Darrow placed items 14,15 and 16 on the agenda for the March 17, 2013 city council meeting.

Really, not according to this city council or the Chief of Police, Tony Ross.

The Law

California Penal Code Section 832.5 states the following: 832.5 (C)

Personnel Complaint Procedure pages 373 and 374

Within 30 days of the final review, written notice of the findings shall be sent to the complaining party. The notice shall indicate the findings. The complaining party should be provided with a copy of his/her own original complaint.
