Tulelake, CA— Agency D3 VBS: Discover. Decide. Defend. Arrives

At the Baptist Church in Tulelake today a group of around 30 children from Tulelake, CA participated in the first day Agency 3D VBS 2014: Discover. Decide. Defend.

Kids became Agency D3 special agents during the Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School 2014 – Agency D3: Discover. Decide. Defend. – as they collected and logged evidence about Jesus.

Using their best high-tech operative skills, they examined eyewitness reports, physical proof and biblical accounts to uncover and defend the truth about who Jesus really is. By collecting all the evidence, they will Discover the truth of the gospel; Decide to believe it; and then Defend that decision.

“Agency D3 is an investigative agency organized to discover if Jesus is really who He claims to be and if the Bible is true,” And Agency D3 has put together one of the most fun, investigative and high-tech VBS themes ever that I have seen for VBS.

“Agency D3 VBS has an apologetics theme, where “Kids not only need to know the Bible is true and that Jesus is God’s one and only Son, but they need to know how to defend what they believe when someone asks them why they believe it.” According the specialist that designed this program for VBS.

The Agency D3 VBS theme verse is 1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

But honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you” according to the information I gathered for this report on Agency 3D for VBS this year at the Baptist Church in Tulelake, CA.

Agency D3 VBS participants will look at daily questions, investigating to discover, decide and defend Scripture:

  • Day 1 – Is Jesus really God’s Son?

  • Day 2 – Was Jesus more than just a good man?

  • Day 3 – Was Jesus’ death real?

  • Day 4 – Is Jesus alive?

  • Day 5 – What do I do with the evidence about Jesus?
  • There are 5 stations spread through out the Baptist Church in Tulelake and what are called “Stations”
