Tulelake, CA— Editorial:
In this upcoming political season I will be writing articles about what the future candidates in this upcoming election have to say and where they stand on all the issues and that is my job to keep people informed so they can make informed choices. Like it or not that is the way it is.
I don’t play favorites as some are known to do. You want to be in politics local, state, or national, then you need to be prepared to answer the questions presented to you. If you are unable to handle the heat, well as they saying goes, “if you cannot stand the heat, then stay out of the kitchen.” In politics there is no sure thing and no candidate is an automatic vote.
If you are unable to answer the questions in an honest way, then what is your purpose or point for running for office if you are unable to explain your point of view and where you stand on all the issues before us in Tulelake, CA?
Which goes without saying; that includes your past efforts and which side you were on during the recall election. All those things you said then and what you say now. Those you support and why you support them or why not. It is called “Politics”.
If you are unable to handle it, then maybe you should quit while you are ahead; because I will not leave any stone unturned in order to do my job and that is to inform the public with information on where you stand and why or why not and why they should vote for you and not somebody else or not at all and that is their choice too.
I don’t play favorites, never have and never will.
What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong!
And I say it like it is.
