Tulelake, CA— Swat meet comes to Tulelake
Starting next month in the city of Tulelake there will be a Swap Meet on the Corner of Main and E Streets. James Davis the resident renter who lives there has organized the use of the property for use as a Swap Meet on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month with the first Month in November 2014.
The Swap Meet will be held at 576 Main Street. James Davis has letters from the owner of the property former District Attorney for Modoc County, Gary Woolverton giving James Davis permission to hold the Swap Meet at the beginning of each month. There was a concern about the garbage that might be accumulated but that was worked out as the city can put out extra trashcans and that James Davis made the commitment to keep it picked up during the event.
Council member Jerry King made the comment that he felt James Davis does a great job with that lot keep it very well watered and that the grass is very green. Council member Dar Carroll was concerned about the extra garbage in the area.
Mayor, Tom Cordonier asked the present city clerk Joe Cordonier, “If a business license might be required?” Where Joe Cordonier responded that it was zoned as a commercial area and that a business license was required. No Action was taken.

In other matters Resolution 14-16 and 14-17 was passed and approved and a motion to have City Administrative Clerk Jennie Coelho and Assistant Administrative Clerk Heidi Cureton be able to make deposits and receive account balances from Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union was passed and approved by all council members voting aye.
The city council then went into a closed session with the Conference Labor Negotiators Mayor Tom Cordonier, Council Member Bob Hughbanks and Finance Director Susan Llyod Re: Tony Ross; Chief of Police Contract, Gov Code 54954.5 and there would be an announcement of the closed session by Mayor Tom Cordonier at the conclusion of that meeting.
UPDATE: Tom Cordonier, the Mayor of Tulelake announced after the closed session Tony Ross, the Chief of Police that, "No action was taken, no more information at this time.
