Tulelake, CA— Rituals
Each day that goes by I sometimes feel if I don’t at least write something, then I have not accomplished anything for that day. Writing becomes a habit after a while and if I don’t do it, I feel naked.
There are days when I write just the right article or story and I get lots of hits and there are other times the hits are low. Either way, I am still writing something and that is what I love to do, and that is to write.
It gives people a chance to see what I feel or think on a particular subject of interest to me and hopefully to them. I am honored and humbled that I do, in fact, have people who read what I write. For me I have reached a milestone of over 30,000 hits in 14 months time. For me that is a record for this little nobody in a small town in the USA.
I try and keep my articles and stories short, sweet, and simple and to the point. Even I don’t like to read an article or story in the news that goes onto long. There comes a point when we all tune out and decide we have read enough so we move on to something else.
A one page article or story is more than enough space to get the point across or the information being shared with others. I never know which articles or stories will gain the most in the way of hits or attention.
I just write it and let you, the reader be the one to decide if you want to read what I have written or not.
Right now I am involved in many areas that are of interest but as to what I write about on a particular day is up in the air sometimes. It takes a while for me to decide what to write about but once I do, it just flows, and I do the work writing it and then posting it to be shared with others, like right now.
See, before you know it I am at the end of the page and winding down after I have written what I felt needed to be written and it is as simple as that.
I get the pleasure of writing it and you hopefully get the pleasure of reading it.
That is all there is to it, but if I don’t at least write something like a daily ritual, I feel naked.
It is done and so am I and so are you reading it.
Short, sweet and simple!
Now I feel better and I hope you do too.
Thank you!
