We all suffer, we just suffer for different reasons. There are people who suffer with physical ailments. There are people who suffer with mental disorders. One is a physical pain and the other is a mental pain and in some cases both.
Taking medication to try and relief the pain and suffering. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. In some cases it just makes people sleep their lives away and what kind of life is that, by sleeping it away?
Some people just don't understand because it does not affect them. Where getting up each day is a task in its self. Forcing ones self to do the physical things that need to be done or the mental things in order to feel normal, like every one else.
It is a constant struggle between body and mind to accomplish what needs or should be done for that day. Where things that once gave the person joy, the person has no interest or drive to do them any more. Everything becomes a hardship and a fight to find the strength or interest to do what was easy before, is now forced. Knowing that deep down it has to be done in order to get through this painful period.
Waiting for all the pain to go away, knowing that it will, but it is just a matter of time before it does, then things can be normal again, if there is such a thing as being normal again.
People get through it, but it is the suffering that has to take place first, before the smiles return and the purpose to live again, comes back...
