Tulelake Librarian Lorraine Fine, Retires

At the last city council meeting the city of Tulelake decided to approve the advertising of a new librarian for the Tulelake Library. As Librarian Lorraine Fine has called it quits after serving for 8 years as the Tulelake Librarian. Where Lorraine Fine will continue to be involved with the Tulelake Friends of the Library.

Lorraine Fine has been involved in all the new things happening at the Library and its continuing renovations. It is getting new electrical outlets for new computers and work stations, new carpeting, new furniture and more. Lorraine Fine has worked hard over the years with the improvements that are just now taking place as she retires.

People in Tulelake and beyond could always depend on Lorraine Fine to help them with their research projects, from the youngest to the oldest. If she did not know the answer, she was able to guide people in the direction to find what ever it was they were searching to get an answer to. Lorraine Fine will be missed as Tulelake's Librarian.

The new Library hours of operation are now

Monday thru Wednesday
12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
