A new day

Yesterday I got a chance to see some of the tourist area of Kona. One of my roommates who has been here for a while took me to some of the tourist beaches. It was a chance and opportunity to see things I have never seen before. It took my mind off the things I am dealing with since I arrived here.

Like in Hawaii, where there is a catchment for rainwater where they are used for domestic water supply and agriculture. Fresh drinking comes from springs where people fill up their water jugs.

One thing is for sure it is not what I expected it would be living here. If it had not been for Mike, my new roommate things would be even worse, than they already have been.

We talk about God and the hereafter, he has a lot of knowledge in that area. Paradise is what this place is suppose to be. And it may be for the tourist, a place called paradise, but those struggling to live here it is far from the paradise I imagined it would be once I arrived.

But seeing the tourist enjoy themselves is a good thing. People keep telling me everything will be fine and that once I get a little more settled I will like it too. Time will tell. As I have a lot of things that need to fall in line and place for that day to happen.

Well God Bless, and keep me in your thoughts.
