As I prepare to check out and head to the airport in a few hours on this adventure I am about to experience. I can only hope all will turn out well when I arrive on the other end and a new life, and new beginning. A chance and opportunity to meet new people along the way on the flight and after I arrive. In hopes that the person I have been in contact with will be able to pick me up from the airport and that I don't have to wait too long. And that the room I will be renting will work out and be the right place for me to start writing stories and articles again.
Instead of Tulelake a small town in California but an island in Hawaii and the small town south of Kona, about an hours drive. A whole new experience and people and things to write about, that others who read my blog will enjoy them, too. As I begin to grow even bigger than my blog already is by those who read what I write around the world and beyond. Those who know me in real life and those who only know me by my writings.
I have been busy trying to get caught up with my blog postings and spent a lot of time connecting with friends all over the world keeping everyone updated as I move forward on this great adventure. I should have got more sleep as I am going to need it once I get to my final destination. I just hope that it works out well and Dan is able to pick me up from the airport and the room I am going to rent from him will work out too. And that is one of the most difficult things I am doing right now, and the fact, that my funds are limited and the window of opportunity is short. I need to find a place right away, as I do not want to be writing stories about being homeless, been there, done that before.
Well, time to close as I get ready and rest a bit more before I leave for the airport on my flight to the Big Island in Hawaii, my new home.
God bless and keep praying for me that things will work out according to God's plan for my new life in Hawaii.
As always, James Garland of Tulelake News and soon maybe Kona Hilo News
