Why are churches Republican

Why is it that churches are Republican in nature? This may upset some people but it seems to be true. Can't people just go and worship God without politics being brought into the church. After all they are suppose to be taxed exempt. Yet some how, some way politics is brought into the church. Isn't the reason people are there is to worship God in his true essence?

Leave the politics out of the programs and stick to worshipping God and leave the politics and issues of the day where they belong, outside of the church. Respect the fact that not all or everyone agrees, yet they are Christians in their own right. But when politics is added to the mix, it clouds the real reason why you are there. I go to worship God, not politics.

I am searching for the true loving God, not the one drummed up by politicians or the Republican Party. Where daily there is some turmoil over who is right and who is wrong. It doesn't matter, not many people are going to read what I write anyway. But I am going to say it, because it is how I see things. And I am sure there are a great many people who will differ with my opinion. Just like them, I have a right to my opinion, as they do.

But I get so tired of the same stuff being hashed out in churches, where it does not belong. It belongs in the realm of politics and debate it there, and leave it out of the churches. It is such a turn off to go to a church and they have to bring up political things in nature. I just want to seek God and not deal with the politics of abortion or the legal definition of marriage.

It is up to God to judge what is right and what is wrong, not man making his own rules passing them off as from God. Have they asked God lately what He thinks, of course not. Nobody can, even though there are many who claim they can. People need to let people worship God in their own right and leave the rest alone. Then, the world might be a better place for all of us to live in.

God Bless.
