In life we all have places we have been and seen. Each of us in different ways. In some ways they can be called chapters of our lives. From our childhood memories to adulthood and beyond. And that goes for jobs or employment as well. From good times to bad times.
As a youngster I recall trips across the states from California to Georgia, even once to Florida across the southern states. And from California to Washington State on the pacific coast. I have also stood on a cliff as the southern point of the USA in South Point on the Big Island. I can now say I have been to two islands in Hawaii. Oahu and the Big Island.
As far as countries I have been to Tijuana and Rosarito Beach in Baja California and South Korea for three years teaching English as a second language.
When it comes to employment I have worked in the food services as a bus boy, dishwasher, fry cook. In manufacturing I have done shipping and receiving work as a clerk and a manager or supervisor, and even ran a injection moldoing machine making bicycle and wheel chair wheels. I have worked in retail for Liquor Barn, HomeBase in the lumber, décor and paint departments, and as a cashier for both places. I have even been a manager for a car dealership in downtown Los Angeles as New car get ready manager.
I have had some interesting jobs working at Universal Studios in the lower lot merchandise department and in the tour park at a place called Sound Tracks, next to screen test theatre in 1988. I also have been a on air radio dj for three different radio stations in 1988, 1990-93.
I have directed, acted in plays throughout my life time. I even produced a segment on BMX racing for KIXE channel 9 in Redding, California.
When it comes to education I have an AA degree in theatre arts/telecommunications and a BA degree in Human Resource Management.
So I have had many adventures along the way, and many chapters in life to write about. This is just another one. Such as my book and other articles on this blog link below.
"Up from here"
Last but not least all the stories I have written since 2010 when I first tried to start a local news site, and all the up and downs that go along with it.
