Trump tells Congressional leaders 3-5 million 'illegals' cost him popular vote
President Donald Trump claimed at a meeting with congressional leaders Monday that he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton in last November's election because between three million and five million "illegals" cast ballots, multiple sources told Fox News.
It is not the first time Trump has made the unverified claims about illegal immigrants casting votes for Clinton, the Democratic nominee. In late November, Trump tweeted that he had "won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally."
Klamath Falls, OR-- The election is over and the facts are Trump won 306 Electoral College votes to Clintons 232 Electoral College votes. A difference of 74 Electoral votes. It's official: Clinton swamps Trump in popular vote. More Americans voted for Hillary Clinton by almost 2.9 million votes, with 65,844,954 (48.2%) to his 62,979,879 (46.1%), according to revised and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
It is what it is and Trump needs to move on and get over it. The facts are what they are Hillary won the popular vote and Trump won the electoral college. Hence: Trump becomes president because he won the Electoral College vote. Even though he lost the popular vote. And complaining about it is not going to change a thing either way. And trying to change the facts by claiming falsehoods is not becoming of someone who wants to claim he is president.
It only shows how insecure he is and unstable for someone who wants to be considered a legal president. If anything it is more questionable with hacking by the Russians as to his legally winning the presidency. The hacking is more likely a reality, compared to 3-5 million 'illegals' casting ballots.
No one is immune to mental health disease, including a president.
