Klamath Falls, OR—The American People, the American People. How many times have you heard that coming from Fox News? "The American People." Since when does Fox News represent all of the American people. It's getting old, every time someone from the right speaks they use the words, "The American People" or "Americans". What gives people on the Right the power to keep claiming what the American People think or say about things. Since when does Fox News or those on the right represent all Americans? They don't. And it is time they stop claiming they represent all Americans when they don't. I guess that means the rest of us Americans do not exist.
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Just like they don’t want to solve the DACA problem, why didn’t the Democrats pass gun control legislation when they had both the House & Senate during the Obama Administration. Because they didn’t want to, and now they just talk!
Starting here first with perpetuating the false Republican narrative that President Obama should have gotten more done during his first two years in office because he had a supermajority in the Senate.
Debunking the Myth: Obama’s Two-Year Supermajority
A supermajority is a filibuster-proof 60 or more Senate seats, allowing one party to pass legislation without votes from the other,
Don’t forget: the president needed a supermajority because of the Republicans’ unprecedented use of the filibuster as an obstruction tactic — they’ve used it more than 400 times.
But here’s the deal — the real deal — there actually wasn’t a two-year supermajority.
This timeline shows the facts something those at Fox News and the Right lack.
President Obama was sworn in on January 20, 2009 with just 58 Senators to support his agenda.
He should have had 59, but Republicans contested Al Franken’s election in Minnesota and he didn’t get seated for seven months.
The President’s cause was helped in April when Pennsylvania’s Republican Senator Arlen Specter switched parties.
That gave the President 59 votes — still a vote shy of the supermajority.
But one month later, Democratic Senator Byrd of West Virginia was hospitalized and was basically out of commission.
So while the President’s number on paper was 59 Senators — he was really working with just 58 Senators.
Then in July, Minnesota Senator Al Franken was finally sworn in, giving President Obama the magic 60 — but only in theory, because Senator Byrd was still out.
In August, Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts died and the number went back down to 59 again until Paul Kirk temporarily filled Kennedy’s seat in September.
Any pretense of a supermajority ended on February 4, 2010 when Republican Scott Brown was sworn into the seat Senator Kennedy once held.Do you see a two-year supermajority?
I didn’t think so.
People need to educate themselves first before being spoon fed by Fox News and those on the Right.
Those on the Right, including Fox News will do anything they can to convince people they are right, even if means they have to lie about it. The same way Trump does, daily.
Deflecting is foremost the thing they do the most. They love to point fingers at everyone but themselves and they take no responsibility for the things they do. But they are first in line to blame anyone other than themselves for the things they do. Afterall those on the right are perfect and they make no mistakes.
Now they want to blame the FBI for any and all things that have gone wrong lately. From the Nunes Memo to the mass shooting in Florida. Those on the Right and Fox News seem to think now they speak for all the victims in the mass shooting. Those that lived through it are speaking up and those on the Right can't handle it. Instead of giving them their right to speak out, they claim this is not the right time to discuss and do something about Gun Safety.
Yet, the politicians on the Right are the ones taking money from the NRA. So it is no wonder they are against gun safety regulations to prevent this from happening again. They keep using mental health as the reason this keeps happening. If laws need to be passed against those with mental health issues they better be prepared to have their guns taken away because of the very comments they make themselves that come across as being unstable people themselves in need of a mental health evaluation. They need to be careful about what they ask for as they might get it, and they may not like the outcome when their guns are removed, and taken away or they are no longer allowed to own them anymore, due to mental health issues by the comments they make on social media sites.

Now take the time to read the Department of Justice release below before listening to Fox News and those on the right that claim Trump is now vindicated as well as Trump himself does too.

Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong - no collusion!

IE: Check this out. Look at the bottom as to who the AG is on this chart and who signed it. I came across it while preparing this news story. Talk about incompetence the present AG can't even fix a chart and update it with his name on it instead of the past Obama administration AG.
