Protest in Downtown Klamath Falls over Trumps' immigration policy

Flash Protest: End Family Seperation at Border (Part One)

Trump has signed an executive order ending the separation of children and parents who cross the southern US border illegally. The children were detained while their parents faced legal proceedings. While they waited for their parents to be released, the children were put into inhospitable detention centers furnished with metal cages and concrete floors. Audio recordings released by a charity revealed the distress many children were, and are, experiencing in the centers.

Klamath Falls, OR— Jesus would not approve of Trumps Immigration policy.

You hypocrites who claim you are such great Christians need to think twice about your support for a hypocrite by the name of Donald Trump and his immigration policy. Matthew 7:5.

In reality, undocumented immigrants are not increasing the crime rate in the United States, and only a small percentage of undocumented immigrants are MS-13 gang members.

It’s an intellectually dishonest attempt to draw a line between children — even babies — who have been brutally separated from their parents because of a cruel Trump policy, and the violent MS-13 gang, which actually began in Los Angeles in the 1980s.

On June 23, 2018, in Downtown Klamath Falls, OR there was a protest with signs and speeches pointing out the flawed Immigration policy that has been administered by Trump and even after his executive order, it still remains the same.

The internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII is the most recent time the United States Government imprisoned families on such a large scale. Before that, the United States Government conducted an internment campaign against Native Americans.

Now, as Hispanic families cross the border into the United States, children are unwillingly separated from their parents. These children are currently being detained. Although irreparable damage has been done to these families, we can end this policy now, before more damage is done.

Valerie Lenardson of Klamath County Democrats and a group of concerned citizens of Klamath Falls, OR showed up with signs and some in the Community like Valerie Lenardson were given the microphone and spoke up and made their point of view of what the Trump and Republican party has done lately. There was even a Republican himself who stood up and let everyone know how he felt about Trump and his policy and what he thinks of the Republican party of Trump now, not the Republican party he once knew in years past.

Pat Probst: "It was AWESOME to see so many take time out of their day to support the Children and Families and show that unlike 45 and his "I really don't care" associates that "WE DO CARE!! And, "With the Rally to support "Save the Children" today on the steps of the Klamath County Government Building." Where Trump must be stopped and only we can do it with our voices and our votes by voting Blue on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, or by mailing your ballot in early as soon as they become available for the General Election in November 2018.
