Klamath Falls, OR— This afternoon I went to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom @ 5:40 PM after I called Access Taxi to preset a pick up time at 5:00 PM so I would be in time to see the 5:40 PM 3D showing at Pelican Cinema.
I watched the movie and enjoyed it and it was worth the time seeing it. It differently was well worth viewing it. And I always like to watch movies in 3D when they are available. After the movie I wanted to get something to eat so I was going walk about a half a mile or there about and to go to Applebee's but I decided I just wanted to pick something up fast and take it home instead of sitting down in a restaurant.
Even though Applebee's has take out too but it would take longer. I decided I would go to Taco Time and get something to go fast. And as soon as I was through ordering I could call Access Taxi to come pick me up and take me home with my Taco Burger with cheese. That way I would not have to wait too long for Access Taxi to arrive.
Right after ordering and calling Access Taxi for a ride home. I was waiting for my order to be done. When the person at the counter was complaining that she needed to lock the lobby doors to keep anyone else from coming in to order. So as soon as she could she made a bee line to the doors and began to lock them and mentioned they did not want to let anyone else into the lobby. And the person in the back area mention that if they did not lock the doors by 8:30 PM they could get into trouble for not doing it.
Before the doors were locked there was a group of people waiting for the order at the counter and behind them was another group of people waiting to have their order taken. In the mean time there was another gentleman at the side door trying to get in. And I assumed he was with the group of Chinese people because from the distance he looked Chinese. So he came to the front doors and I proceeded to let him in the lobby. Once he came inside I realized my mistake and it was not being racist but a false assumption. And the three Chinese ladies could not understand English so it was hard to communicate with them. I thought the man was with them.
Well, it turned out he was not and up close I could see that he was Hispanic and not Chinese, a human error on my part and it was not intentional to say the least. He thanked me for letting him into the lobby. Then as if out of nowhere both employees began kicking people out of the lobby. Even the people who were now in line inside the lobby and saying something like they would all have to go through the drive-thru as the lobby was now closed and they were only going to complete the orders that had already been taken. And that everyone else would have to leave except those of us waiting for our orders to be done.
The gentleman I let in mentioned to them he had a large bus type motor home and he could not drive through the drive-thru. I spoke up and said why not let him walk up to the drive-thru window and let him make his order from there. The employees both refused and said they could not do it that way. That they could not allow him to use the drive-thru window to make an order. So I saw him leave and get into his big motor home bus and drive down the street. I was still waiting for my order to be done after he left and as the two employees were still dealing with the drive-thru orders at the same time as my walk up order.
I saw one of the ladies who did not get to have their order use the restroom and then leave also and get into their truck and drive away too, shaking their heads like I was doing. And who knows none of them may never come back, ever again. Finally, I got my order and stood outside waiting for my taxi to arrive and tried to let the employee's know I was hanging out because I was waiting on my taxi to arrive and it did.
When I got in the Taxi, I told the taxi driver what had just happened and that I was going to write an article about it on my blog, then post it to my website at Tulelake News as soon as time allows me to do it and I get to it, as I do everything, including being the webmaster of the website because I am the owner and boss of everything I do.
And I did just that along with posting a complaint to the TacoTime® corporate website, and TacoTime Facebook Page, as well as the TacoTime (Campus Way, Klamath Falls) Facebook Page, too.
And there you have it. Very poor customer service that in reality could have been handled more professionally, instead of like a bunch of armatures that are in desperate need of customer service training and common courtesy training too, by the company they work for TacoTime® as well on how to close a lobby the correct way, not the wrong way as these two employees did tonight at TacoTime®. Shameful on how they did it, and I hope they will never do it again. I don't want them to be terminated but to be reprimanded and retrained in correct customer service procedures. Unless, this is how TacoTime® does its business in the first place?
I surely hope not.

If you have any connection what so ever to these employees that night it will be considered as a bias material witness. Are ready to go to court and make your statements under Oath, as I am?

What do I have to gain by reporting the "FACTS" ? Nothing! I tell it like it is and I will not be accused of being a liar by no one. I do not know or have never known any of the employees at TacoTime (Campus Way, Klamath Falls) Facebook Page, in Klamath Falls, OR. 97603. So I have no reason to lie. But they do.
I don't make any money at writing the news. I have no ads on any of my sites. I do it to get the TRUTH OUT. What am I going to gain, a free TACO for reporting and telling the TRUTH? Give me a break. I have been writing the News since 2010.
I don't like being called a liar by someone who claims she was there as a customer. And says the employees never said what I stated they said. She is either a relative or a friend of theirs trying to protect their jobs. If she did not hear them say what they said she is either deaf or was far away from the counter area like I was, and the man with the RV. (Bus) as he called it.
I have no reason to lie. What is in it for me to lie about two employees doing their jobs incorrectly? What I am going to get a free taco. Give me a break.
The employees are NOT telling the truth now and for that alone should be terminated. Along with Sarnia who has yet to send me an email or a hard copy of what she has done in writing to remedy the situation for the future.
Unprofessional, and Sarnia should be terminated now too.
