KLAMATH FALLS, OR— Democrats Change That Matters Dinner at the Shilo Inn Klamath Falls
Oregon Democrats believe that rights and responsibilities go hand in hand. It’s up to all of us to work for a present and future society that treats every individual with dignity and respect, provides for the health and education of future generations, grows Oregon’s businesses and local economies, safeguards our civil liberties and democratic rights, and protects the natural environment in which we all live.
Democrats Change That Matter Guest Speaker Jeanne Atkins, Chair of Democratic Party of Oregon at the Democratic Dinner in Klamath Falls, OR on October 13, 2018. Where Jeanne Atkins spoke about what is ahead of us in this upcoming midterm election. (See Video Above).

It's time for healthcare for everybody.
It's time to rebuild our middle class.
It's time to focus on the needs of rural communities.
It's time to bring common sense and decency to politics.
It's time for accountability.
It's time to stand up to bullies.
It's time to retire a lifelong politician.
Jamie believes that the role of the government is to work in partnership with other sectors of our society to provide the physical and social infrastructure necessary for folks to care for their families and communities.

Platform of the Klamath County Democratic Central Committee
Preamble
The Klamath County Democratic Central Committee commits itself to the principles and positions contained in this platform so as to secure a more just and prosperous future for all Oregonians. We recognize and embrace our shared rights and responsibilities. We affirm that every person is guaranteed rights to life, liberty, equality, and the pursuit of happiness. In exercising these rights for ourselves, we are respectful of the interdependent web of life on this planet.
Our purpose is to uphold the protections granted to us by our state and national constitutions and to act on our responsibility to steadfastly oppose any attempt to dilute the rights and liberties of Oregonians in the name of political convenience or security. We declare that the greatness of our nation is in its diversity and its ability to move forward with full understanding of our historical strengths and weaknesses in times of continuing turmoil. As Oregonians, we affirm our democracy as a mandate to pursue freedom throughout the world as a beacon of opportunity, tolerance, and freedom.
Editors Note: On the last video there are some typos that I did not catch until after the video was uploaded. Nobody is perfect and I am only one person who does it all. So I think you will forgive me this time as this was a major project and very time consuming.
Have a nice day and don't forget to VOTE BLUE on November 6, 2018 or before with early balloting.
Thanks!
