KLAMATH FALLS, OR—Homeless helping, other homeless, to no longer be homeless themselves
The idea is as follows:
1. The ONLY Employee's will be homeless as there will be no other paid staff, except for the homeless. Other non-paid positions will be for volunteers who are not homeless.
2. Once you are no longer homeless and have a stable housing situation of your own. Note: Homeless shelters do not count as stable housing.
3. Stable housing means you now have your own house or apartment in your name with all the utilities also in your name. Electric, Phone, Gas, Cable, etc.
4. Once you are no longer homeless and have employment else where, you are no long eligible for the program.
5. While being paid you will also have to make an effort to find housing and employment so you can leave the program as soon as you are able to.
6. These are just ideas right now and are and will be updated as time allows.
7. This is a beginning of an idea. And even I will not be paid.
8. This is a program that will be run and managed by homeless with a board of directors as a non-profit of which I will be the first Chairman and CEO until at which time the organization is up and running on it's own without any further service from me.
First are the funds for motel rooms.
(Most everyone has food stamps or can go to places to get food or cloths already.)
First a roof, then money for deposits for their own housing and the first months rent.
Welcome to those who would like to get involved helping the Homeless Help the Homeless.
More Updates Coming Soon....
“I’m cold and I’m afraid,” Mr. Neeley said, adding that he was trying to raise enough money from the bundled commuters rushing past to pay for a $45 motel room on a night that weather forecasters warned would send the Midwest into a deep freeze unlike anything even this region has seen in years.
This is why we need to do this. This is why I started Homeless Helping Homeless HHH.
These people need help damn it. Help them please!
We need to help get these people off the street and into warm motel rooms of their own.
I have been Homeless. I know what it is like to be Homeless.
Not degrading homeless shelters. That is why I started Homeless Helping Homeless HHH
