The Washington, D.C., march in 2017 was the flagship protest that year, drawing hundreds of thousands of people protesting the new administration.

For hundreds Saturday in Southern Oregon, a woman’s place was in the rain. Despite heavy downpours, a crowd of about 1,000 turned out to voice their opposition to the Trump administration at the third annual Women's March of Southern Oregon. Thousands rallied for third annual Women's March across U.S.

Locally KLAMATH FALLS, OR held their third Woman's March and this year it was organized by Alex Spenser, the Coordinador of the Woman's March 2019 and with the sponsorship from Rodeos Pizza, the Gaucho Collective, with Precision Structural Engineering the LWV Of Klamath County and the Klamath County Democrat Central Committee Facebook Page.

Considering the weather, the turn out was small, but those that did show up had a great time and showed their support for the Woman in Saturdays March in Klamath Falls, OR. Pat Probst made pink hats for the Woman's March, for those interested in having one.

Diane Eastman-Shockey was very supportive and led several chants, "Putin is not our boss", "Putin is not our boss". And she feels Trump is abusing his power. And Julie Anne was at the Woman's March collecting donations for the Klamath Falls-Lake Counties Food Bank.

It was a peaceful march with the exception of an elderly former Vet, who she claims she was a Diesel Mechanic. She was yelling and screaming at the protesters from across the street by the court house. Making claims they did not have a right to be there. They had just as much a right to be there, as well as she did. But she does not have the right want to deny the marchers their first amendment rights.

She did not like that I was there and felt I did not have a right to be there either. She even gave me the bird and called Klamath Police Department, complaining to them that I did not have a right to be there. Because I did not have a permit or I am not a legitimate news organization. Related link: Blogs and Freedom of Speech

Another gentleman by the name of David was at the march too, with his sign that said, "Abortion Was Murder". Nobody seemed to care that he was there and no one kept him from exercising his first amendment rights as a libertarian and a born again Christian. His wife and his children would have come with him, but his wife wanted to stay home and sleep in, as she did not want to be around people she disagrees with, and does not support. And his daughter did not want to go out in the rain.

David is member of KLAMATH FILM, and David was not turned away, nor was he harassed to my knowledge by anyone. A few may not have been too pleased that David was there standing up for what he believes in. And a person or two thanked David for being there. David also had a nice conversation with the lady, the former Vet in a wheelchair about abortion and AFDC and how she felt people were abusing the system, and buying $100.00 cloths, from the money, she felt belonged to the children. And she claimed she had seen it first hand.

Not going to provide the pro and con Statistics, depending on which side of the debate you are on, that you are all ready aware of from your own POV, and that goes for AFDC, as well.

All those that were there are looking forward to next years 4th Woman's March, hopefully next year in 2020, it will be better weather, but it could have been worse and snowed. It only rained a little and it was not too cold for this years Woman's March in KLAMATH FALLS, OR
