Prominent Republican Senators told Nixon to resign or they, they would vote to “convict” him and be remove from office. Nixon resigned the Presidency in August 1974.

Those on the right would have you believe that anything Trump does is legal and he is within his right to say and do so.
Which, couldn't be further from THE TRUTH. And it is the TRUTH that Trump and his cohort would have you believe with the likes of Jim Jordon, the biggest hypocrite of them all grandstanding at hearings or any hearing that Jim Jordon is party to.
Even in his privite life Trump has used the courts to his advantage and is attempting to do the same thing as president. If Trump has nothing to hide then why keep people from testifying to tell the truth. If this was not a case of bribery, then what else was it? A friendly exchange between two countries over funding for defense and political investigation of a rival.

Article II, Section 4, says the president “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
Need I say more, enough said. It will soon be time for the Senate to do it's job and find Trump guilty and remove Trump from the office of the presidency once and for all and forever...
