Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2020!

KLAMATH FALLS, OR—

Tulelakenews.com Todays News: Christmas Day December 25, 2019

Well another year has gone by and it is Christmas once again as 2019 closes in and we head to 2020. Can you believe it, it is 2020?

This is what happened in my life the other day, as I struggle to keep things alive, along with myself, in the Turbulent Trump Years. When, I write especially, from the heart. I have to be in the right mood, in order to get the correct feelings down, as best can be, so here goes...

Monday the 23rd of December 2019, Klamath Falls, OR.

Had an appointment set for 1:00 PM with Liberty Tax, as I had fifty plus cents left to my name for the bus fare, to take me to that side of town. But, I decided there had to be a way for me to get some money. Yeah, I thought I can take some of my collectables, and see if I can get a few bucks for them. I started going through my things, to see what I was willing to let go of, from my many collections, of many different things, I have collected over the years.

I even had a one dollar left from when I took my bottles to recycle place and lost a dollar of the 4 I got from my bottles and if I still had that extra dollar I would have had enough to ride the bus too.

I loaded my brief case with the files I wanted to take to the income tax place, the records from (HHH) Homeless Helping Homeless and Breakfast Friends Vets Park to what what taxes I might have to pay, for helping others with motel rooms, and coffee and donuts in Vets Park, that I started in June, and the other one at the end of January this year ending 2019 (HHH) Homeless Helping Homeless.

I then left and started walking towards the place that I thought I could sell my stuff too. But that didn't work out too well either as they were not buying stuff right now. And the other place I know of it would have been the same problem as my California license has expired and have not taken the driving test for Oregon yet. And my license expired in 2018 on my 64th Birthday and still have not got around to taking the test. Like what for I don't have a car and I don't need a drivers license right now? Except, if I had one I could rent a car. But I don't have a car or truck, not even a motorcycle so I don't see the need for it. And with a vehicle it would mean maintenance, insurance, car payments if it wasn't paid for, so who needs a driver's license. I don't right now.

And the plan is if I do buy a vehicle I will hire a driver, like the Green Book if any of you have seen that movie, I have. I will just hire a driver to drive me where I need to go while I work on my business stuff in the back part of the vehicle. Besides, I have driven since I first got my permit at 15 and half and my driver's license at 16. Which was taken away once, but that is another story for another time in "Up from Here" book 2. LOL~ And there are going to be some good stories in that book too before I knew I was bi-polar I Manic/Depressive.

By the time I got back home again I couldn't find where I put or placed my change for the Bus to go to the appointment. So I canciled and decided I would try my experiment idea I had thought about trying a few weeks ago. Where the idea is I feel if a homeless person dresses differently rather than as a homeless person they may be able to get even more donations. Because I feel people would look at them differently and maybe approach them and feel more comfortable than just pointing fingers and saying, "They need to get a job", or "They look like there is nothing wrong with them" and as the story goes we have all heard the remarks towards the less fortunate among us.

But dam, people need to take a few moments to find out their stories or what seems to be their situation to be able to help them get the help they may need. Not all homeless are the same which has been stated by me many times. But I am not going to rehash those category's right now for this final article for this blog, Tulelake New Times soon to hit 180,000 views world wide.

Not being able to remember where I put the change, I thought to myself I could go and try my social experiment at Wal-Mart and see what happens. I called and canciled the appointment as I was not going to carry my brief case to the appointment and then walk to Wal-Mart from there. I do enough walking as it is getting flyers posted all over. I was not going to carry my brief case full of my flyers all over the place today.

After the call I headed towards Wal-Mart, and earlier I took the video of EM vehicles and used it in the first part of the video above and at the end too, as a repeat of the footage. On my way I stopped at one of the places I post flyers and went in as the HomeBase Man and his donation box to see what kind a reaction I would get. One of the casher's who knows who I am said he would hit me up next time. And the other person who always calls me sweet pea wasn't too interested in giving me a donation and she is about the only Conservative I know that she and I can have a agreement to disagree respectfully and still like each other when all is said and done.

On I went from there in the direction of Wal-Mart with a short stop to chat with the young man on the corner, the sign holder for the Pot Dispensary. Which, I can't go in there because I have an expired license and that is part of the law to go in their you also have to have a valid id. But one of the owners gave me a baseball cap with their name on it and I ware it in my videos once in a while. In fact, I can be seen warring it at the end of the video above.

Made it finally to Wal-Mart and before I found my spot. I found a nickel on the ground, my lucky day. Then after a little bit and not feeling too comfortable about this. But, I was hungry and broke. Yet, I have a roof over my head. And before I forget the first place, I put my donation box down, was where the cross walk is on Washburn Way by the trail. Where you have to push the button to cross from one side of the street to get to the other. I thought I could keep pushing the button, and have lots of cars stop for me. LOL! I would get their attention then. But, no, that wouldn't be right to stop them, so I could get their attention to get donations. If anything would happen they would get mad, and pissed off at me, for forcing them to stop, for no other reason, but for me to get a donation from them. And, I am sure they would have not been thrilled, nor do I think it would be legal. I could get a ticket for that one, me thinks. And I don't need any more legal crap to have to deal with, than I already am by going to Trial on Jan 22, 2020 for the Criminal Trespass II, which now I have legal representation for the case 19CR45438 at the Klamath County Courthouse in Klamath Falls, OR.

As I left that second spot on my way to the inside Wal-Mart to get warm as it was getting colder now. Oh, yeah. Reminds me again on my way over the S. 6th Street Bridge by the Homeless Shelter I found a cap on the side walk and it looked pretty nice. So I put it on and put the one I was wearing in my pocket. Which later when I went to put it on again. I discovered I had lost mine. And a an exchange took place. I found a cap, and lost one all in a few hours of each other on the same day. Talk about luck, mine was not looking too good at this time would you say?

Two things just came to mind and they are both off topic but I don't care, do you? 1. By now there should have been tons of misspelled words, but I am in the crome browser, so I switched to the MSN Brower as it shows the misspelled words in red. But there are none so I must be getting better at spelling or typing my stories and articles now. Wow!

And the second thing is I have a bottle of KOBEL Extra Dry Millennium Champagne from 2000. I think I will open it and drink it and celebrate the coming in year of 2020. Twenty years I have been saving it, why not go ahead and drink it this New Years, even though it is worth more now than when I first bought it. I think I will. What do you think. Should I or shouldn't I drink in on this New Years eve? And I don't care what it is worth now I am going to drink it and enjoy the coming in of 2020 a great soon to come for me, I truly feel. Maybe the best of my life yet to come in 2020. What say you and what say I?

Anyway after leaving the second spot on my in the parking lot, low and behold I found 7 pennies. LOL! Well, that makes Twelve cents now. Then I went inside and walk around a few times then went back and I found two dimes by the mail box. Where I mailed the empty HP ink cartages to recycle back for the refills that I get from HP for my printer. Now I have thirty-two cents but not quite enough to catch the bus back home from Wal-Mart. And yes, I could have begged someone for the difference so I would have enough for the bus. But I didn't feet like it. So I went back in one more time but before I did. I made a cell phone call to a friend telling them about my experiment and after our conversation, I hung up the cell phone and went inside for one more round around the store to see if I might run into someone I knew. There was one person, but I couldn't remember where in Klamath Falls, I knew her from and still haven't yet either. But I know I know her from someone where just don't remember where yet.

On my last round before heading home on my walk there. I sat down on the benches by McDonald's and the senior receipt checker asked if I had a pen she could borrow. And I said, "sure'. As I always have a pocket of pens with me. Don't ask me "why"? I just do. So I reached in and gave her one of my pens ad it wouldn't work at first. Well, one of those cheap Wal-Mart pens what do you want? Anyway I went ahead and gave the pen to her and told her I would send Wal-Mart the bill for the pen. She laughed a little but I don't think she thought it was too funny.

OK! Made it home after a long cold walk. And I mean freezing cold, glove time and good thing I had a pair.

Had a great Christmas Eve Dinner with my friends at the Methodist Church and went to the service there last night dress as my new character the Bell Hop.

The End!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year One and All of my friends World-Wide.
