No newspaper boys in 2020 all the kids are gone now, history of the past newspaper boys long gone and no more in 2020

What have we lost from the history of past generations? The news paperboy. It seems in this day and age on 2020 calling some kid a newspaper boy insults them. They don't want to be called a kid or a news paperboy. But one way to get their attention is to call them a kid or refer to them to being a paperboy. It drives them up the wall. They don't like the name kid or paperboy. It seems to be below their expatations for themselves.
Yet, many moons past that is how boys or kids made extra money after school or in the early morning before school they would hop on their bikes and do their newspaper routes before and after school. And when some news papers had a morning and evening issue. The paper boys would do their routes before and again after school.
What happend to the kids in this generation and loss of what it was like to be a paperboy in the neighborhood and when they went once a month to collect the monthly fee and the tips their customers gave to them. And in reality paperboys were also working for themselves in those days.
Well, it looks like those days are long gone and never to return.
What a shame and a growing up experience that the kids in 2020 have now lost, forever. The skill and in most cases their first job, a paperboy.
Progress and in the process news paper boys are now just a footnote or blip in a wed search of a time in the past history of newspapers is gone forever, and so are news paper boys the kids that did those jobs so well.
Sad and shameful what these kids in 2020 have lost and could gain so much in being known as a kid and a news paperboy in 2020.
