Klamath Falls, Oregon- Valentines day in the year 2021, the day after a party who refers to themselves as the law and order party. Not only failed themselves, they failed America, the United States of America in the Acquittal of Donald J. Trump. Where generations of Americans will look back at the Republican GOP during this time in history as the party of traitors with no guts to do what is right. But instead out of fear of repercussions going along with using the excuse of the impeachment trail as being unconstitutional, with exception of seven brave GOP Republicans who felt otherwise.

The real patriots in the GOP were the seven Republican Senators who found Donald J. Trump guilty as charged. Regardless if Donald J. Trump was no longer the sitting president and now a private citizen. The impeachment in the House of Representatives was issued while Donald J. Trump was still the 45th President of the United States of America.

"Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell directly blamed former President Donald Trump for fomenting last month's riot but voted Saturday to acquit him anyway of inciting an insurrection.

McConnell sharply criticized his former ally in a speech on the Senate floor shortly after Trump was cleared in a 57-43 vote, saying the rioters had been "fed wild falsehoods by the most powerful man on Earth. Because he was angry he'd lost an election."

"Former President Trump's actions that preceded the riot were a disgraceful, disgraceful dereliction of duty," added McConnell. "Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day." But McConnell -- who, as Senate majority leader last month, rejected calls by Senate Democrats for a speedy trial during Trump's final days in office -- said Trump was constitutionally ineligible for conviction since the punishment is removal, and Trump was already out of office. McConnell claimed that a verdict before Joe Biden's inauguration had been impossible.

McConnell argued that "impeachment was never meant to be the final forum for American justice," but suggested Trump could be subject to criminal prosecution in the future. "We have a criminal justice system in this country. We have civil litigation. And former Presidents are not immune from being held accountable by either one," he said."

Not only should McConnell be ashamed, so should the rest of the GOP claiming they are the law and order party who allowed a criminal to get away with this insurrection on the Capital of the Untied States of America. And in turn the hypocrite GOP condemning each of the seven Senators who did cross over and do the right thing for their country by putting "Country over Party" and history will see it that way too as the weak party of Trump allowed a past president who was president at the time to get away with attacking even his vice president during this insurrection.

In his speech explaining his acquittal vote Saturday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell strongly implied the legal process should address Trump's role in the riot, which he said the former President was "practically and morally responsible" for. Rep. Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican who has faced backlash for her vote to impeach, has said similar.

It was previously reported that federal investigators could look at everyone involved in the unrest at the US Capitol, including the role Trump played in inciting the crowd, according to the acting US attorney in Washington. Asked directly by a reporter in January if investigators were looking at the role Trump played at the rally, acting US Attorney Michael Sherwin had said, "We're looking at all actors here and anyone that had a role and, if the evidence fits the elements of the crime, they're going to be charged."

It would have taken only 10 more brave Senators to convict Donald J. Trump as a past sitting president when the insurrection took place by trying to steal an election by force and encouraged this act by his very words of, “fight to the death”. If that is not enough to prove Trump’s guilt in encouraging an insurrection on the United States Capital, then truly what is in the history of Donald J. Trump 45th President.
