UPDATE: Here is the latest response from the scam.
ATTENTION: FACEBOOK THIS IS A SCAM AND THERE IS MORE THAN ONE OF THESE SCAM ADS ON FACEBOOK NOW.
The old saying, "If it is too good to be true, then it is a prime example below: Where one ad is selling the scooter for $38.88 and another ad is selling them for $89.90.
When the real ad is selling them for over $2000.00 for the real deal.
Klamath Falls— Yeah, I feel for it too. And thought wow $38.00 for one of these that would be cool. Its a fraud and Facebook needs to put a stop to it. Facebook is accepting money for the ads and not checking the ads.
If I had put an ad out like this, Facebook would put me out of business, real fast. Which, makes a person wonder who allowed this at Facebook, knowing very well these ads don't past mustard in anyway shape or form.
I don't care about the $50.00 I lost for being stupid in the first place, but what about all those other people out there being scammed by it on a ad that Facebook has approved of it and allowed to be spread on their platform?
Facebook has allowed these ads on their platform. Along with the fact there are two different ones, but similar in nature, looks and sounds, to fool even the best of us. I should have known better especially after the email from my bank account asking if I am the one that made the purchase or approved it?
I thought well maybe they could sell something like that for 50 bucks, even with shipping and insurance. LOL! Yeah right! Sure all the way from London. LOL! And other dumb asses like me who thought. "Yeah man that's a great deal for 50 bucks, can't wait to ride on it. LAMO! I got a ride alright, a ride pf being conned along with many others I presume.
But there are lots of people, besides just me who have fallen for it right now. However, they are too embarrassed to complain about it. They just take the loss and move on. Well, I don't happen to be one of them. I am a fighter and fight for not only my rights, but for the rights of others that's what I do everyday getting the truth out on my blog and website.
And I have a big megaphone and I am using it to the best of my knowledge and know how to get the truth out about this scam with Facelook. Where Facebook is allowing it to happen at the same time. And that's what also makes Facebook the responsible one too, IMO. For not checking out what is going on here on their own platform. You know what I mean and what I am saying?
The point being I am not the only one in the world who was stupid enough to do it, and did. With in big letters written all over my forehead in Capital Letters, "SUCKER!" And I admit it, but after thinking more about it and realizing how they have deceived FACEBOOK, and Facebook it's self along with it, not taking the time to check it out themselves first. If Facebook would have Facebook would have seen or known this was a scam from the beginning, but instead Facebook took the money for ads and ran to the bank with it themselves.
And right now I am this little guy in Klamath Falls, Oregon trying to get the word out about this scam with the means I have to do it with.... with what I have to work with to make it happen. Not much, but doing the best I can with what I do have to work with to get the word out about this scam being allowed right now on Facebook.
You can't just call Facebook and complain about and say, "Hey did you know FACEBOOK you are running and allowing a fake ads and scam on your platform...??? Good luck with that one... You know what I mean. LOL!
Wow!
And there are two ads running with the same scooter, but just about 40 bucks difference. One ad for $38.88 and the other other ad with different links for $89.00. Wow!
Where the real price for that scooter is over 2 grand. Damn, I got my work cut out for me on this one... to get the word out about it worldwide.
Call me crazy if you like, but I don't think so on this con job that is being allowed on FACEBOOK itself right now. OMG!
Just think how much money they are going to get away with before they get shut down. Millions of dollars I would say and that is a rough estimate but in the ball park.
This is a scam and it is being perpetrated by FACEBOOK itself IMO.
