Klamath Falls— Seasons change, and with it comes, the joys of the Christmas time of year. Summer and Fall have past, and Christmas is in the last month of the year. Where instead of looking back. it’s time to move on, and look forward to the coming New Year.
Klamath Commons Park on 11th and Main Streets has a brand new artificial Christmas Tree that was erected by the city of Klamath Falls Public Works Park Employee's, on Wednesday of this week. With their special city trucks, with man buckets to hoist an employee into the air, attaching the pieces, of prefabricated Christmas Tree.
A Christmas Tree has also been erected, and in place at Sugarman’s Corner Park, on 6th and Main. And the Christmas lights are on the locomotive on display, in Vets Park. Kit Carson Park is also being decorated for Christmas too.

Klamath Falls— On Wednesday had a major headache for three days and was concerned it may be a warning of having a stroke like the one from a few years ago where my left side of my face became paralyzed. There are two arteries that go up to the back of my neck to my head. One of the arteries is blocked, which causes the other artery to do double duty getting blood up to my brain.
Concerned there may be a stoke coming or that this could be Covid related choose to head to the Emergency Room at Shy Lakes Medical Center. In the process of preparing, took my time as there was no rush to get there. And no need or reason to call 911. That would not be necessary; but needed to get there ASAP in my opinion, as fast, as possible for me, at the time.
Contacted Grant W Niskanen, MD on my Chart and sent a message to his nurse asking the question of what I should do? However it way too early for her to reply with a suggestion, and more that likely she would have advised me to do one of two things. Go to Sky Lakes Walk in Clinic or directly to the ER. So made the choice to go to the ER. Took a shower, packed a bag in case they admitted me into the ICU, like last time. Then, caught the bus at 7 AM from the transfer station downtown, a short walk from my house. Arrived at the ER ten minutes later.
Joshua Ness, MD, Rebecca RN and Dale ER Tech did a great job attending to me as their patient, and the final outcome was no stroke and SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19), SCREENING/ASYMPTOMATIC UNEXPOSED Narrative. There was a concern a headache could be a symptom of catching Covid –19 as others have done. Better to be safe than sorry for not getting the headache check out to be on the safe side and now no stroke, and no covid-19. What a relief and Thank God.
