Trump derangement syndrome TDS
Why are those on the Right always wanting to say or accuse those on the Left of having TDS?
Trump Derangement Syndrome is not a real, diagnosable, or treatable mental disorder. It doesn't exist.
Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) is a pejorative term usually for criticism or negative reactions to former President Donald Trump that are perceived to be irrational and presumed to have little regard towards Trump's actual policy positions, or actions undertaken by his administration.
The term has mainly been used by Trump supporters to discredit criticism of his actions, as a way of reframing the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world. Politico co-founder John Harris wrote that TDS is related to gaslighting, " another psycho-logical concept in vogue in the Trump era." Journalists have used the term to call for restraint when judging Trump's statements and actions.
Deranged Trump Self-Delusion Trump Control Freaks never stop with their falsehoods.
TDS accounts for denialism about Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election, as a "political diagnosis" of people who "simply can’t accept the fact that he lost the election."
This new definition derogatorily describing the rabid nature of Trump followers rather than his deriders has been picked up by others and is now widely used.
Hence: Trump Control Freak supporter.
Donald Trump's Just Spent Millions In 5 States. Some Republicans Are Worried
Donald Trump-backed committees drop millions on Republican campaign
Donald Trump-affiliated committees have poured more than $8.5 million into Republican candidates' campaigns as midterm elections approach, the Financial Times reports.
With the midterm elections just over a week away, MAGA, Inc has reportedly been ramping up its political donations, spending $8.5 million since the beginning of October alone. This money has largely been spent on ads in five key states: Arizona, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Nevada, and Georgia.
Although the sums raised by MAGA, Inc are vast, some Republican donors believe Trump's donations are coming too late in the day, especially as Republican candidates have been outspent by their Democrat opposition.
