Klamath Falls City Hall Meeting with citizens against jet in Vet's Park

Klamath Falls City Hall Meeting with citizens against jet in Vet's Park"

Klamath Falls- In Public comments four people spoke out against jet in the park. They are against having the jet in the park and feel it is being placed in the wrong area in Vet's Park. And it was mentioned by one of the speakers that there could be a problem with graffiti. And the question came up as to who is responsible for maintenance of the jet in the Vet's Park.

One speaker will wait until the next meeting when the jet issue may be on the agenda for the April 17, 2023 City Council Meeting.

To be continue.

Other issues where a liquor licenses were on the agenda- both passed but one next door owner spoke up about parking on his property on the location on S 6th for Garage Tap House. The other one on 4th and Main by the courthouse Tipsy Tater.

Councilors unanimously approved recommendations for both businesses during the meeting.

The city passed construction services contract with Commsurf LLC for the Crack seal project in an amount not -to-exceed $62,600. Plus an additional contingency allowance of $12, 600.

Then the council went into executive session over labor issues.

There are better places to put the jet in Vet's park. Like out near the fountain and build a dock to have it on.
