Being caught in a crossfire on 5th and High Streets in Klamath Falls, Oregon

Wow! Going down the hill on 5th and High Streets can be dangerous sometimes especially when you are in the middle of a crossfire between a group of people in the lower lot of the Granview apartments at 321 N 5th Street, Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Was heading to the transfer station heading to Walmart, to see about getting a new changer for my iPhone that I lost when I went to the Skylake's ER with all the stuff I had packed in case I was admitted or flown again to the Medford for medical treatment on my heart condition. It now takes two buses to get there and back now. Since the Shopper bus is no longer running or in service. Cutbacks because the local community has failed to support the less fortunate in Klamath Falls on the last ballot to approve funds for the Basic Transportation System in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Ballot measure failed 18-130. From what I discovered when I finally returned back home. Apparently, there was a group of people arguing over a truck and in the process someone in the truck pulled out a gun. When I was passing through this group on my red-hot rod walker heading to the transfer station. When they started shouting at each other, I just kept going in the direction I was headed and did not want to get involved as I had other things to get done on this day.

By the time I had reached the corner of Pine and 6th Streets. First there were two Klamath Falls Police Cars heading north on N 6th towards the Granview by crossing over High Street. And from my point of view from 6th and Pine I could see a female Klamath Falls Police officer park her car on the corner of 6th Street. The police officer got out of her patrol car and pull out her revolver and pointed it in the direction of 5th Street and High Streets. Then moments later two more Klamath Falls Police department patrol cars zoomed by heading west on Pine Street after making a left hand turn onto Pine Street passing the BTS bus making a right to head to the corner of 7th and Pine at the BTS transfer station.

I felt my life had been put in danger by this group in the lower lot parking lot and the people in the PU truck yelling back and forth at each other.

And from the other information from one of the parties who lives in the Granview mentioned to me that someone in the PU truck was waving around a revolver and that’s why he called 911 and the Klamath Falls Police department.

And I told this person I did not see the revolver or anyone waving one around, but I did not apricate being in the crossfire of both groups in their disagreement that had nothing to do with me but it seems I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and could have been shot if the person in the PU truck had decided to start firing his revolver or pistol what it was I didn’t see it. And even if I would have, I have no knowledge on firearms of any kind, period. People can settle their difference without using weapons to do it and I did not appreciate how close I came to...
