Hannity shows his bias for Trump
Vivek Ramaswamy Brands Hannity ‘Fake News’ Following Heated Interview. Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy branded Fox News host Sean Hannity “fake news” on Thursday and suggested he was now part of “the swamp” following a heated interview. “For years, @seanhannity has railed
against ‘fake news.’ I guess he’s become it. My comments about lobbyists were about Azerbaijan, not Israel. This inter- view was sponsored by @NikkiHaley,” wrote Ramaswamy, along with a laughing emoji.
In another post, Ramaswamy pointed out that Hannity’s remark about people who have “never held public office” not being “qualified” for president would have “disqualified” former President Donald Trump in 2016.
“@seanhannity would have disqualified 2016 Donald Trump, who would go on to become the greatest president of the 21st Century,” he wrote. “I’m the new outsider and the Establishment is flailing and will try to prop up their flavor-of-the month puppet: last month (DeSantis), (Nikki) this month. If you strike the swamp, the swamp strikes back.”
“As Hannity pummelled Ramaswamy over the remarks, Ramaswamy protested, “You have been laughing about the“ fake news media how many times for the last several years? And now you’re buying the mainstream media narrative when you know how corrupt it is.”
Sean Hannity Blows Up at Vivek Ramaswamy: Maybe Public Office Newbies Are ‘Not Qualified to Be President!’
Hannity, after dumping Vivek Ramaswamy following a VERY heated exchange: "I think people who never held public office, like you, maybe they’re not qualified to be president!" Yes, Hannity actually said that. At one point, Hannity lowered
the boom on the 38-year-old: “I think it’s asinine to think someone who worked in the defense industry isn’t quali- fied to run for president — I think people who never held public office, like you, maybe they’re not qualified to be president. Anyway–"
At which point Hannity shut down the interview and teased his next segment without giving Ramaswamy a chance to respond.
Hannity did not address at any point whether his comments about the presidential qualifications of someone with no public service record might be in conflict with his own support of any particular past president.
