Donations are welcomed. As it costs me more and more each day to do what I do and I am not rich.
And some people are known to take what I do for granted and that is free. No, it takes my time and money to do it. It cost me, not them.
But I love what I do and that's why I keep doing it. Donations or not.
But they sure would help me to do an even a better job with better equipment and maybe be able to hire people to help me do it too.
I do the best with what I have to work with and that is the best I can do at the moment.
For ONE PERSON, doing it ALL by himself.
I am just ONE PERSON tying to make a difference and that is my goal too.
Plus all the time involved in sharing the posts to 10 different FB pages. And that I take naps and do not get a whole nights sleep because I work 24/7 getting the stories out. Try it and see how working 24/7 with very sleep works out for others? Even with something you love doing, it gets tiring for one person paying for it all and doing all the work by himself.
Shoot, I even take the bus everywhere I go too. Try that and see how much time you have for yourself at the end of the day. Plus walking around downtown meeting new people and talking to old friends to see how they are doing and time at the library too reading the H & N in print. as I like to read it is print sometimes to keep up to date on local and national news. That I don't get on line. All time consuming for one person.
Plus dealing with the legal issue in the court with my new attorney for case # 19CR45438 that is going to trial with a pre-trial hearing on Jan 13th and Trial on Jan 22, 2020.
Yeah, a lot of work for one person.
Oh, yeah plus I design and print flyers and pass them out around town and I am the webmaster for the website too. And the blog with over 180, 000 views world wide.
Website https://tulelakenews.com/index.html
Blog https://tulelakenews.blogspot.com/
Plus the time it takes to upload each of the videos and keep track without getting lost or having to redo one due to a tech error. Which I missed because I am hard pressed for time and getting things done with no help from anyone. Where I do everything and don't a dime at it. A little donation from people who sit back and enjoy what I do would be much apricated for all the work I do, so others can be informed off my hard labor for free.
Or have their programs promoted for free and not even offer a donation, but take what I do for granted.
Plus my electric is past due and a month behind, along with other bills. And my virus protector has expired and I can't pay for it to renew it or afford to get a new one.
Plus I haven't had the time to figure out and design a program where people can make money from Robo calls. Because other news items get the priority, with the stories and videos for those, plus all the videos I have in the can so to speak that I have not had the time to get back to editing them.
Plus two books that I haven't had time to get back to writing them, or start script 4 for my TV series "Last Chance Hotel" so it can be shot in Alturas in the late spring or summer of this year. Plus getting back to the homeless programs I created and have more ideas to help the less fortunate. At least I have a roof over my head but at times I am only one step above the less fortunate. I have a roof over my head, but have the same problem, no money and no food at the end of the month.
And housework that I haven't been able to get to either because of all the other work I put first, over my own personal stuff.
Hey, I was just saying I am one person and do the best I can with what I have to work with and it is work. And just like work everyone likes to get paid for the work they do. I love what I do but like everyone else I have bills to pay and end up broke at the end of the month like everyone else's does too.
Last month I had no money or food for about two weeks. That's tough and the same is going to happen this month if I don't start getting donations for the work I do. Even a few bucks can help get me through the month.
A few dollars from people who enjoy my work world help and I am not going to get rich from a few dollars here and there but it will sure help me each month to get by.
So I don't have to put out a donation box and ware it everywhere I go.
Sometimes I do better stories than the local news does. But they get paid and I don't.
And a few medical issues that they have been unable to figure out what is wrong yet. So yeah, all of the above for one person doing it all by himself.
Then people wonder why I don't catch my typos or misspelled words or other things with what I do. People should try to do what I do daily and see how much they get done and do all the things I do in one day and see how well it works out for them?
And I still have to walk up and down a hill everyday. In fact, several times a day getting things done around town. The good thing is all the walking helps with losing weight, so there is a benefit in all the walking. But it still gets tiring regardless.
And I took the bus to the meeting at OIT and back and not one person offered me a ride or even asked if I had a ride back home. People just assume things about others, as always.
And I shouldn't have to ask for a ride or that I need help by way of donations to make what I do even better, than what it is now.
I also go to the Methodist Church on Sundays and Tuesdays for dinner from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and take an extra meal to go as I don't have the time to go to the food banks too. Plus my DL is expired and I feel I don't need a DL when I don't have a car anyway and right now can't afford the maintenance or upkeep and the insurance for it either. Could rent a car but can't afford that either and would have to hire a driver as mentioned I don't have a DL or Id right now. Can't afford the cost of getting one.
And it comes back to catch 22. One person doing it all by himself that others enjoy for FREE.
I would like to enjoy a little bit of free time, that others do all the time. It would be nice.
But people don't have to wait to mail it, they could drop off things I could use, like food, and other things, and last, money to help me to continue what I do every day.
