Ross Ragland Klamath County Commissioner Candidate's Forum

Klamath County Rotary Club hosted a "Commissioner Candidate Forum" at the Ross Ragland Cultural Center on Thursday, May 12 at 12 noon. Lunch was served to Rotary members and at 12:25 pm and candidates were introduced. The candidates are Todd Gessele, Allan Headley, Brandon Fowler, and Dave Henslee. This was the last opportunity to get acquainted with all four candidates, who are running for Klamath County Commissioner Position 1 in Klamath County. Klamath County Commissioner Position 2 candidates were not invited, Kelley Minty Morris and James Charles Garland.

Commissioner term limits was discussed at Ross Ragland

Farming and federal aid, water, dam removal, wildfire prevention, climate change, the environment, moving Oregon's border, the siting of solar fields on agricultural land, housing, homelessness, dry wells, county planning, how to attract businesses, election integrity, illegal water hauling and marijuana grows, policing challenges, roads, and mandates.

Questions about term limits for Commissioners was also discussed at the Ross Ragland Cultural Center from a Klamath County Rotary Club member.

Forums were held across Klamath County in Merril, Crescent, and Chiloquin for County Commissioner Position 1. With one exception James Charles Garland was present at the Crescent town hall who is running for Commissioner Position 2 and where he was invited to attend.
