February Tours planned Part Two

Only met a few new people in the Observation Coach on this trip to Eugene for the TNT Tours. Normally I meet allot more people but like anything else in life you have good and bads days, which is normal and nothing is ever perfect. I know I am not perfect. And met a few people in the lower section where I normally sit on my trips on Amtrak.

Finally arrived in Eugene and did not cross paths with the couple I met at the Klamath Falls, Amtrak train station when I left Klamath Falls, Oregon.

After disembarking I took some pictures of the crew and a did a video of the conductor on this trip as she was helping other passengers to get on board train 14 heading north.

And took other pictures of down-town Eugene and left behind some of the water and pastries I carry to give away on all my trips to help others who ran out of money on the train trips or out on the streets in whatever city I am in at the time, even when I am out and about in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

I then headed to the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House for a tour of the house on the hill. https://smjhouse.org/

When I got to the top of the stairs to the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House in Eugene. There was a sign on the door to ring the doorbell. And I watched a few other people do it first before I rang the doorbell to be let in for the tours.

After entering I paid my fee and the person there began giving me a tour of the downstairs area and then it got busy and she needed to help other customers as they entered after ringing the door bell at the door. Then I decided I could go off on my own and take the tour of the place and took pictures which I was allowed to do of all three floors, even with a miniature model on the third floor of the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House. Which was very interesting to see it first hand and will be part of the tours coming soon in the spring from Klamath Falls to Eugene.
