Growing up in a small town-Lanie Baley P5

At that age you don't realize that the boys are teasing you because they like you. You just think they want to be mean to you, but I learn later on in life that boys really do tease you because they like you. Outside of school when my mom worked at Clayton's and various places. We had railroad bums that would come through town sometimes and my mom was always afraid that one of those bums was going to grab me or something hobos or whatever. Hobos are just railroad riders they don't mess with little girls like my mom thought anyway my mom always told me what are you going to do if one of these guys grabs you, ”kick him in the balls and run,” is what she taught me. My mom ended up being the best friends with her boss from Clayton's department store who was Liz. I remember wearing buster Brown Oxford shoes because that's what Clayton's department store carried and that's where I got my shoes. My mom made a lot of my clothes because back then it was cheaper to make clothes, and it was to buy them, and my mother was an excellent seamstress. We moved away when I was 10 to a town called Porterville.
Since this is all about the Baley’s we won't talk about Porterville only the visitations I had with my Dad and what happened in Tulelake that Dad was not aware of... Before I get into what I did that Dad was not aware of let me tell you a little back-ground info that I probably should have included plot volumes ago but I just remembered and I just found this photo.
So when my grandparents first moved to God's country as my grandma referred to it as the edge of the lake was where jocks supermarket now stands. So what happened to the lake? My Grandpa Stacy was part of a project where they drilled a hole sheepy ridge and drained the water out of Tully lake in to lower Klamath lake.
